Warning Signs
Private Kindergarten "Mikroi Exerevnites", Clois 3 Kastoria, Greece
Inspired by an online educational program on the environment, the children created their own signs promoting energy conservation. Using colors, imagination, and creativity, they depicted messages such as the Earth harnessing the sun and wind, solar panels, and two hands embracing the sun. Through their artwork, they expressed the importance of sustainable energy and the need to protect our planet.
Safer Internet Day

Through a series of activities,the children learned how to stay safe online, understanding key internet safety rules in an interactive and engaging way.The children created a poster with the word "STOP," where each letter represents an important rule for safe internet use:Stop and think before posting, Tweak your privacy settings, Organize your screen time and Point it out to a parent if something feels off. This way, key safety rules become easy to remember, helping kids stay protected online!

tales about internet safety. We talked about the internet and our relationship
with it. The topics we focused on were personal data, fake news, online
etiquette, and avoiding communication with strangers. We played
internet-related games and made a craft (a laptop and a mouse), which we
enjoyed a lot!

About energy saving
The students of class I A have learned that saving energy is very important for protecting the environment. They are involved in activities that help them understand how to reduce energy consumption in their daily lives, such as turning off lights when they are not needed, switching off electronic devices, and using water efficiently. Through these actions, the students of class I A are developing eco-friendly habits that contribute to a more sustainable future.

The students of class I A enthusiastically celebrated Safer Internet Day, a day dedicated to online safety! Through interactive activities and educational games, the little ones learned how to navigate the internet safely, recognize digital dangers, and ask an adult for help when needed. By actively participating, the children discovered the importance of responsible behavior online. Online safety starts with us!

Aiming to highlight contemporary issues in the digital world, this day encourages collaboration and action to create a safer , responsible and positive internet. Our school, for the 2nd school year, is a supporter of the day for a better and safer internet.

We had a fun and curious trip to nature with our students. They observed the ornamental trees of nature, the small creatures on the mountain, the mushrooms and plants that could be dangerous.
Okul Bahçe Temizliği
Okulumuzda öğrencilerimiz bahçe temizliği yaptılar. Temizlik esnasında hijyen kurallarına dikkat ettiler. Sağlıklı bir yaşamın temiz bir çevrede mümkün olabileceğini anladılar.

Recycle bin designs for our classrooms

The children found some boxes and came up with the idea to reuse them to create recycling bins. We painted and decorated the boxes, and the recycling bins are ready!

The children watched videos about waste management and recycling. They learned about all the items that can be recycled.
They also discovered where they can take large electrical appliances or batteries for recycling. Additionally, they learned that expired or unused medications should be returned to special bins at pharmacies, not thrown away in the trash.
They saw what happens to the waste after the recycling truck picks it up.
The children also learned about composting and the recycling of cooking oil.

Since the beginning of the year, our classrooms have been equipped with recycling and reuse bins. However, the children added their own creative touch! As part of a European program, they took on the challenge of decorating them, making them more beautiful and appealing, thus strengthening their environmental awareness.
