WORD WATER DAY     

For World Water Day, we talked with the children about the value and necessity of water, we did many activities, experiments and played many games.

                              

 The Forest Day in 2nd Kindergaten of Kalamaria!!

In order to celebrate Forest day we decided to plant our oun trees from seeds we find in our fruits that we eat for breakfast at school!!

"Forestry Day"

On the occasion of World Forest Day, we talked about the importance of forests in our lives and their role in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem. We took care of our garden and our young trees, planted the first spring seeds, and started composting to create natural food for our plants. Finally, using natural materials we collected from our yard, we created a poster to raise awareness and promote the protection of our forests.

 When we started creating the poster for World Water Day, we wanted to show how valuable water is for all of us. Through this process, we saw with our own eyes how serious pollution is and tried to imagine ways to reduce it. However, as we went on, we realized that it’s not an easy task. It requires awareness, cooperation, and consistency from all of us.

On the occasion of World Children's Book Day,

the children wanted to create their very own story.

We talked about saving energy and all the ways we can help protect our planet. Through their own fairy tale — written and illustrated by the children themselves — they expressed their ideas, used their imagination, and shared creative solutions.

March 21 World Forestry Day

We talked about the forest and its value, about the products it provides us, the plants and animals that live there, the dangers it faces, and the protective measures we can take. We created a model using reusable materials with the slogan “The forest is alive.”

March 22 World Water Day

We talked about water, its usefulness, and where it can be found. We discussed water pollution and its scarcity. We were inspired to create slogans like “Save the planet’s water,” “Conserve water,” and “Don’t waste water.” Using a recycled cardboard box, we made our poster.
